Biblical Fiction Roundup Day 6: Coming Soon

Now that we’ve established that Biblical fiction is gaining popularity, I want to give you a heads up on what’s coming.

Wm. Paul Young, author of The Shack has a new book coming out in September. Eve may be even more controversial than The Shack. We’ll see. Angela Hunt also continues her Dangerous Beauty series with Bathsheba: Reluctant Beauty in September.

On This Foundation, the newest installment in the Restoration Chronicles by Lynn Austin , comes out in October, and Ted Dekker continues the story of the slave turned queen Maviah in A.D. 33.

I’m super-excited about Jill Eileen Smith’s The Prophetess, coming out in February because it’s based on one of my favorite Old Testament women, the Prophet Deborah.

Finally, if you can wait until April, newcomer Connilyn Cossette’s debut title, Counted With the Stars, looks pretty awesome!
