Waterfall by Lisa T. Bergren

I read Waterfall a while ago and I’ve been waiting in an AGONY of suspense to read the sequels.  Time-traveling, sword-wielding, arrow-shooting sisters Gabi & Lia just want to make it back to the 21st century without being kidnapped or killed.  (And they would prefer to avoid being distracted by inconvenient romantic entanglements, thank you very much!  Yeah…not happening.)  I’ve kept busy reading other stuff, but I think I’m going to have to man up and buy Cascade & Torrent

I was also REALLY IMPRESSED with Lisa T. Bergren’s website.  She actually reads and reviews teen books!  (Not many teen christian authors do that.  Or at least they don’t blog about it.)  Check out her review of The Iron King here.  She was also interviewed by Romantic Times!  *gasp*  That’s impressive.

Plot Summary
“While most American teens would kill for an Italian vacation, the Betarrini sisters have spent every summer of their lives there with their archaeologist parents. And they’re not happy to be back. Stuck on yet another hot, dusty dig, they are bored out of their minds…until they place their hands atop handprints in an ancient tomb and find themselves catapulted into the Fourteenth Century. Gabi emerges in the middle of a dream–or nightmare?–with hot Italian knights in a fierce battle. And so begins her quest to return home…while wondering if she wants to at all” ~Taken from the author’s website.

Note:  I decided to read this mostly because of the cover.  And because I recognized the author’s name from her previous inspirational fiction titles.  (None of which I had read btw.)
