A Marcher Lord Press title has won another award! König’s Fire by Marc Schooley has won a Carol Award in the Speculative Fiction category. See 2011 winners in other categories here.
Why do I care? Because Marcher Lord publishes books I like! However, many libraries won’t buy from small, independent publishers like Marcher Lord Press. Usually for good reason. Poor quality, poor editing, inconsistent supply, etc. But this makes two Christy awards and two Carol awards for Marcher Lord in the last two years. They are cleaning up! Hopefully libraries and booksellers are noticing…
